How do we cope with gas prices?

Here's an idea. Why not have as many employees as possible work from their homes? Have only those who are essential in the office and pay their gas costs. This will reduce energy being used by corporations as well. Less people, less energy. Those who work at home agree to a trade off. If you work at home the extra cost to do so is borne by you. If you want to be compensated for space used than deduct that space on your taxes.
All office materials are paid by the employer and computers and other office equipment is supplied as if you were in your corporate office.
For those essential employees consider a four day workweek of 10 hours a day. These measures will not only conserve gas and energy but will also free up roads for tourists and necessary trucking.
It's a win, win concept and a Reck Neck Opinion.
