Obama is Elected President of the United States!

Let us support this new President and wish him great success. We must all do our share and hopefully rebuild America. We CANNOT remain divided. We wish him and his family good health and God's protection. We pray that no harm will come to him and he will be one of our greatest Presidents. Certainly this is the time for a great leader, but he cannot do it by himself. He needs our support and our caring. Let us start again and remake this nation regaining its great glory and love through-out the world.

The Great Divide in America!

The greatest destructive force in America today is the Religious Right. This movement is becoming more like a cult filling our email and the air waves with hatred and in many ways encouraging harm to those who disagree with them. The day will surely come when their careless rants will cause irrevocable harm to this nation. Certainly the Republican Party has been hijacked and it's once fiscal conservatism is all but gone replaced by a religious agenda that is in conflict with Christianity and the true Christian spirit.
The Religious Right are now the prophets and have predicted the future of this nation. Like others who have followed the very same path whose predictions or prophecies have never come true. Unfortunately many Americans are being fooled  Are we in the time of false prophets?
They have managed to divide this great nation, weakening our morale and dividing our people. Our greatest enemy is certainly here within our borders. It is those who have entrenched themselves within government creating a non functioning government spending far too much time on issues that should be debated outside of government. Certainly they have a right to express their narrow views to whomever they want but we are all now being affected in our daily lives by those we simply wish would go away. It is not that we don't have our own views and many of us are Christians as well. It is the approach and the intolerance that offends us. We can live in peace with our neighbors and those who believed differently. This is a great land and all should be welcome and have a voice.
Our survival depends on true Christian welcoming hearts and the same response from those, our neighbors and friends, who belong to other religions, or not, who feel the same. Those who wish to love this country and all who live within. Those who will certainly fight to protect all of our rights and who want to live side by side in peace.
