Orlando Commuter Rail should live on!

Red Neck is just back from vacation!
Have we all gone crazy?
First of all let me say that I have always supported a commuter rail system. I have not been very happy with the various transit committees over the years and even this has been poorly sold. This is an easy sale, the problem is there's no representative groups involved. What I mean, is there are no groups involved that represent the people who will ride the commuter rail. None!
So let me make the sale to my commuter rail buddies, I'll represent us. Have you seen the price of gas? Do you realize that any respectable city, or area like Orlando, needs a commuter rail system? Certainly you do. This stretches far beyond Orlando and that's a plus as well.
Look, public transportation is how us regular folks, as Chris Matthews calls us, get around. So why aren't we out there fighting for commuter rail? I know you haven't been asked, as usual these folks are talking at you and not to you. Well, I'm talking to you. John Mica has done his job and we benefit as well as anyone else, perhaps a lot more.
This is the time to get aboard and insist on commuter rail. I do understand there may be a few short-comings in the present proposal but not enough to stop it.
Support this endeavor and let's give our input as it moves along. Join the Red Neck Express on this one! For once I can say this is one Congressman that should not be thrown to the Gator. Are we going to let a good thing die just because we haven't had a voice? Most of the time I would say yes, but not this time. By the way, tell your state representatives as well.
Call John Mica's office and tell him you support the "Commuter Rail". Here's his local phone number 407-657-8080. Send a letter to the editor. This is Red Neck's Opinion !
To my blogger buddies....let's show them how to make this happen. A lot of us have lived in the BIG CITIES we know this is a must. Let's call this one the "Blogger's Express". No fancy stuff just facts. And, the facts are we need commuter rail now. It's a gas saver and should be a part of any area's transit system. Want to email me..go ahead RedNecksOpinion@gmail.com
