The American People Deserve More

The American People Deserve More

We have spent too much, state our governments, we must cut our budget! Where do we start? that’s easy, let’s cut education, the arts, museums, and all things educational and cultural. Our new motto will be, leave everyone behind, not just the children!
The American people deserve more.

As salaries plummet, and housing and taxes of every kind rise, when no amount of education ensures a decent job, what is our future?
Each day brings more corruption into the light and places more burdens on most Americans. The question must be asked, whose burdens are these? They are our collective burdens and we must address them together and united.
The American people deserve more.

Not another American soldier should fight in a war while his family suffers at home.

This last congress cut taxes with the unknown cost of a war still raging; the reasons for war were not truthfully presented. An old soldier was disgraced at the United Nations and we lost our souls because we were not truthful.

Our children went into battle without proper equipment; meanwhile taxes were cut with no understanding of the dire consequences to state and local government budgets. The Congress continued to spend and spend. Our dead soldiers returned home in darkness and our wounded lived in squalor and abuse and the very government and officers of our armies did nothing…that was their reward. In Iraq we praised our men and women and said God Bless you, while the wounded lay neglected. The American people deserve more!

We have come to this moment in history.
Will we see the Dream of America drift away from us, and others, who once gazed across oceans wanting to reach our shores in search of a new beginning? I am appealing to you to insist that this nation change its moral course and once again stand on the foundation that our forefathers built.
The American people deserve more.

Lending institutions with low rates created lending practices solely to feed their greed.
When the mortgages could no longer be paid they stated that the buyers were at fault and let them face the consequences, but when the lenders began to fail the government bailed them out immediately. The American people deserve more.

The largest group of welfare recipients in this nation is congress. The do little but continue to raise their own salaries. They complain about the difficulty of their job but spend millions to keep it. The American people deserve more.
We are in a crisis. Our educational system is broken. We must insist that our schools, museums and culture be preserved and no longer used to fix the budget.
Red Neck's Opinion

How many of you people have Outhouses?

I'm conducting a poll to the left of this article. If you have an Outhouse then I know you're in the upper class of society. If the poll indicates that most of you don't, then I going to have too write these articles, and disseminate my worldly knowledge in a manner that those of you on the bottom step of the ladder may fully understand.
Or, as President Bush would say," git the informationally data out there, drop it from bombers iffin' you have to."
By the way, when you read my posts and find words misspelled, they are not! It is your dictionary that is wrong. I use Swampster's Dictionary. Look the word up in Swampster's.
